EMMANUELLE GRIN
Emmanuelle Grin, who has been passionate about scents since childhood, trained at ISIPCA before joining IFF (International Flavors and Fragrances) in São Paulo. There, she developed her expertise in perfume creation, inspired by local scents.
Throughout her career, Emmanuelle has worked with brands in a variety of sectors, including Cazabat in fashion, the Bluelemon agency in advertising, Palomano in children's products, and Smeg Store in home decoration. She is also involved in more technical projects with entities such as the Weizman Olfaction Research Group and the start-up MOODIFY.
Emmanuelle founded her own bespoke perfume laboratory, Martine & Colette, where each creation is a unique work, conceived in close collaboration with her clients. Made-to-measure is at the heart of her approach: she strives to translate the identity, memories and emotions of each individual into an unforgettable olfactory signature.
Her creative process is deeply influenced by synaesthesia, an approach in which the senses blend and inspire each other. Emmanuelle draws her ideas from a variety of unexpected sources: a photograph by Sebastião Salgado, a Pink Floyd song, or a daring dish tasted at Tekes, an Israeli restaurant.
As a perfumer, the creative dialogue goes beyond words. It's a sensory communication in which scents become a language in themselves. Emmanuelle sees each exchange as an opportunity to explore new perspectives, to capture the essence of the other through olfactory notes. For her, the creative process is not a solitary act, but a co-creation, a conversation between several worlds, several sensibilities.
